Terms of Use

The service

LayerPorter provides free, in-browser file conversion tools. Conversion runs on your own device; we do not receive or store the files you process. You can use these tools for personal, commercial, or any other lawful purpose, free of charge, without creating an account.

No warranty

LayerPorter is provided “as is,” without any warranty of any kind, express or implied. We don’t guarantee that a conversion will be error-free, that output will be fit for a specific purpose, or that the service will be available without interruption. Always keep your original file and check the converted result before relying on it.

Your responsibility for your files

You are responsible for the files you convert and for having the rights to use, copy, and modify them. Don’t use LayerPorter to process content you don’t have the right to handle, or for any unlawful purpose. Because conversion happens on your device, we have no visibility into what you convert and no ability to review it.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LayerPorter and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data, loss of business, or any conversion result you rely on.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. Continued use of LayerPorter after an update means you accept the revised terms. The current version will always be posted on this page with its “Last updated” date.
